Constitution
In 2003, prior to incorporation, the Council came to the view that the constitution as it existed then was inadequate for an incorporated organisation, and decided to review it to ensure it complied with government regulations. A sub-committee was appointed to conduct the review and produced a revised constitution to the Council. After consultation and consideration, on Tuesday 5 August 2003 at an extraordinary general meeting, the Association adopted the new constitution.
At the Annual General Meeting on Monday 25 September 2006 certain amendments were proposed and adopted. The constitution as is presently exists came into effect on that day.
