From the Archives
The Archives Committee is looking for crafty volunteers to help with Archive exhibitions. You may be aware that each year we curate several exhibitions for various events. The work involved in these exhibitions consists of sourcing photographs, scanning, printing and mounting them for display in the School’s Foyer.
If you are interested in helping with this process which happens about seven times a year, I would love your help. We are planning a ‘mini training workshop’ next Tuesday afternoon (9 September). If you are interested (even if you can’t make it on Tuesday), please call me on 0407 702 880 or email to azimmermann@sacs.nsw.edu.au.
We are currently entering the School’s archive collection onto a database called Archive Manager. If you would like to help us, we would be very grateful and will train you in the workings of this very easy programme. If you can spare some time on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday (as these are the days that I work) please contact me – I would love to hear from you.
